Very few buses come into Hashmonaim itself, and a great many pass the junctions just outside it. The figures below are from the Ministry of Transport timetable (GTFS) for Tuesday 6 October 2026 (Open Bus Stride (opens in a new tab)); Fridays are shorter and there is nothing on Shabbat. The full list, with first and last times and the stops near you, is on Getting around.

Rav-Kav and timetables
Kavim runs Rav-Kav desks at Modi'in's central bus station and in Modiin Illit (Kavim (opens in a new tab)). Check times on bus.gov.il (opens in a new tab) or a journey-planner app before you travel.
Taxis
Modi'in taxi companies listed on ModiinApp include Moniyot Ha'Ir (Ligad Center, 08-926-2822) and Tzameret (072-372-5602); ask whether they come to Hashmonaim when you book.
Who to ask
The council says the Ministry of Transport alone is responsible for public transport: requests for lines or stops go to the council's transport coordinator, complaints about missed stops to the Ministry (Mateh Binyamin (opens in a new tab)). The council posts road closures in a West Binyamin traffic WhatsApp group (council (opens in a new tab)).
